Join us for our next Board Game Night!

Whether you are a seasoned strategist who knows every rulebook by heart or someone who just loves the classics like Chess/i> and Carroms, this is the perfect opportunity to unplug, meet new friends, and play some amazing games.

We’ll have a variety of games available, from quick party games and cooperative challenges to deep strategy titles. Feel free to bring your own favorite game to share, or just show up ready to learn something new! All skill levels are welcome—we are focused on fun, not fierce competition.

📜 Game Night Rules & Guidelines (For a Smooth Evening)

These simple guidelines help ensure everyone has a positive and inclusive experience.

1. Learn and Teach with Patience

• • • Be a Teacher, Not a Dictator: When teaching a game, focus on the core objective and the first few turns. Don’t worry about every single edge case upfront.

    • Be a Patient Learner: It’s okay to make mistakes! If you’re learning a new game, try to follow the rules as taught and ask questions if you don’t understand the strategy.

    • The “Rule of the Table” Applies: If there’s a minor rule confusion, a quick group consensus is often better than a 15-minute debate, especially for casual play.

2. Respect the Game & Gear

• • • Handle Components Gently: Board game pieces, cards, and boards can be expensive. Please handle all items with care (e.g., don’t “shuffle” cards by bending them excessively).

    • Keep the Table Clean: Keep food and drinks away from the playing area to prevent spills and crumbs from damaging the game components. Use coasters!

    • Put Games Away: At the end of the night, if you finished a game, please help the owner put the components neatly back in the box so nothing is lost.

3. Keep the Pace Moving

• • • Minimize Distractions: Try to keep your phone use limited during your turn. The best interaction is always around the table!

    • Be Ready for Your Turn: Pay attention when others are playing so you know what you want to do when your turn comes around.

    • Avoid “Analysis Paralysis” (AP): While strategic thought is great, try not to spend excessively long on your turn. If you need a moment, let the group know, but try to keep the flow going.

4. Be Inclusive and Social

• • Welcome New Players: If a new person joins the table, quickly introduce yourselves and clearly explain the game’s objective before starting.

  • No Gloating or Shaming: Celebrate success, but don’t rub it in. This is a friendly environment. We are all here to have fun, regardless of who wins or loses.

  • Group Consent: Before starting any game, ensure everyone at the table agrees on the game choice. If the game is very long, make sure everyone is committed to finishing it.
